The French Pavilion

The French Pavilion is a booth designed for the WUF UrbanExpo, designed to showcase French urban planning initiatives through a variety of events, interactive exhibits and publications. The pavilion illustrates France’s determination to share its experiences and learn from others in order to build more sustainable and inclusive cities, in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere that encourages dialogue between participants from all over the world.

During the 12th edition of the World Urban Forum, several events took place on the French Pavilion:

  • During the morning, a pitch corner was organized to showcase a diversity of views based on brief presentations of experiences, tools, methods, etc.
  • Round Tables, which will showcase the achievements of the PFVT working groups on 5 themes: Adaptation, Habitat, Solidarity, Planetary Boundaries, and Health.
  • Debate sessions, designed to encourage enriching, interactive exchanges with the audience, by providing a framework conducive to discussion.
  • And other special events …
