2021-2022 Workshops
In 2021-2022, French actors are participating in 12 working groups in order to develop contributions and common positions in the perspective of the World Urban Forum 11 in Katowice. These different workshops are led by members and hosted by the PFVT.
Resilience
Resilience, sobriety, inclusion and creativity today constitute the French references for sustainable territories. By adopting a systemic approach, the desire was to take into account the interdependence between these vectors. Through its work, the Resilience working group then decided to adopt a global approach, going beyond the UN’s sustainable development goals to integrate the notions of physical limits of the planet (or environmental ceiling) and social limits (or floor). The work led to the adoption of a method: identifying the tools that work, to better disseminate and reproduce them.
Trajectories
- Integrate sobriety and resilience into 2030 trajectories
- Diversify types of financing and improve the efficiency of public spending for the transition
- Strengthen the monitoring and evaluation of performance of projects and public policies
- Organize skills development and training
- Grant a “fair” place to technology
- Promote a positive vision of a carbon-free future
